MEETING MINUTES
Commissioners Present: Stephen Smith, Linda Haspel, Fred Rollinson
Commissioners Not Present: Steven LaBranche, Michael Harnett, Vivien Cook.
Staff Present: Mike Caleri, Jeff Thibodeau.
Also Present: Tim Brady, Margaret and Robert Maier, abutters.
Notice of Intent filed by Robert Maier. DEP SE 19-1459. Applicant proposes installation of a full foundation, shed removal, and construction of additions at property located at 3 West Shore Drive, Map 7A, Parcel 3. ~
Topics of discussion included the location of the proposed roadway opening, coastal resource areas that would be impacted and footpath access over 8 West Shore Drive was viewed as for alternative means to access the site. Methods of construction and materials were discussed. Abutters expressed concerns about the project and construction impacts. 3 West Shore Drive project site was discussed as well as mitigation options. It was noted that access from Campground Beach parking area would not be possible due to challenging topography. Invasive black locust trees on the coastal bank were noted and their removal were discussed as possible mitigation.
